Farewell to The Hamsters

MUCH-loved blues rock group The Hamsters are set to bow out after 25 years and 4,500 concerts.

The group, named after The Sex Pistols’ secret performing name, are on their farewell tour, which arrives in Holmfirth next week.

Before they retire on March 31, 25 years to the day after their first rehearsal, they will play one last time at the Picturedrome on Friday, February 3, at 8pm. The show will be a three-set special of their own material followed by a Jimi Hendrix and ZZ Top show.
