HOT from supporting Blondie at Kew Gardens and their first major stage appearance at the Glastonbury Festival, The Magnets are rapidly becoming one of the must see acts on the current British music scene.

Described as ‘a six-man sound machine,’ The Magnets are a six-piece London man band, who’s unbelievable a cappella antics have made them one of the hottest – and most original – acts around.

Their talent is for original arrangements that radically restyle and subvert great songs by artists ranging fromŠElvis Costello to Adele, delivered via a multiplicity of styles and vocal stunts, cool moves and engaging humour, but absolutely no musical instruments.

Highlights of this brand new show include a sultry version of Lost in Music by Sister Sledge, an incredible mash up of New Order’s Blue Monday and Rhianna’s Only Girl (In The World) and of course one ofŠThe Magnets’ trademark show-stopping A to Z medleys.

The guys are in action at Barnsley Civic tomorrow.
