US rockers My American Heart are crossing the Atlantic to delight audiences around the UK.

The band have spent a long summer on the road in American with the Vans Warped Your, playing with the likes of Biffy Clyro and Funeral For A Friend.

Now, they are heading to the UK with fellow band Madina Lake for a 10-date tour.

The San Diego quintet will be stopping off at The Cockpit in Leeds on September 29 and Manchester Academy on October 2.

The tour precedes the release of both their new album, Hiding Inside the Horrible Weather, which comes out on October 10 on Bodog Music.

It is their second album, a follow up to their hit debut The Meaning In Makeup.

They have been in the studio since last February with producer James Paul Wisner and are justifiably proud of their latest work.

Singer Larry Soliman said: “We actually took our time to write this record. It was a lot of fun creating it and expressing ourselves and growing as musicians together, just figuring out what we’re capable of. It was definitely a huge step up from the last record.

“I just want people to really open their minds and give some consideration to how much we’ve grown. We learned that we are better than what we thought we could be.”

The first single to be lifted from the album, The Shake (Awful Feeling), will also hit stores soon.
