WHERE would you find a talking cat, a giant and a dotty dame?

In pantomime, of course and that’s what is being staged at Almondbury Methodist Church.

The first performance of Ron Hall’s version of Puss n Boots opened at the church hall last night and there are more performances tonight (Feb 13) and tomorrow with three more evening shows beginning next Thursday. The evening shows start at 7.15pm and there are also two Saturday matinees each starting at 2.15pm.

The traditional style pantomime is the 37th consecutive production by Almondbury Methodist Church Pantomime Group.

Expect a mix of old and new songs, lots of laughs and more than dash of slapstick.

The company includes children from the church and dancers from the Clare Doosey School of Dance.

Tickets are 6 (adults) and 3 (children) on 01484 500459 or 01484 359649.
