Rebecca Grant, 26, was born in Nottingham.

Her TV credits include appearances in shows such as The Way We Live Now and Other People, and she has had film roles in Flipside, Kristina and The Other Boleyn Girl.

She can be seen currently in BBC One drama Holby City, playing nurse Daisha Anderson.

Rebecca is engaged to Ivan and lives in Hendon.

If you had to be stuck in a lift with someone, who would it be? I’d say Derren Brown, so that we can levitate the lift to the right floor.

What is your biggest fear? Those dreams you have as an actor, when you’re on stage doing a monologue and don’t have a clue what line comes next.

Do you have any superstitions? Not really. Only the habitual one of waving goodbye to one magpie but not to two or more. One for sorrow, two for joy, and so on.

If you could have only one song on your iPod, what would it be? Chaiyya Chaiyya. My favourite piece of Bollywood music. Never tire of listening to it. Plus, for one song it’s a long tune!

What’s the most expensive item you’ve ever bought, not including property or cars? My Tiffany bracelet and earrings I bought in New York.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given? That would be “it really doesn’t matter”.

When was the last time you cried and why? On set, because it said it to do so in the script.

What’s your indulgence? Champagne and lobster cooked by my fiance, gourmet chef Ivan.

How environmentally friendly are you? I’m proud to say I’ve never littered in my life. I also use leftover water from the sink to water the plants. I don’t have a car yet, but like the idea of having an electric one. I have a dream of eventually being totally self-sufficient and owning an environmentally run house with solar panels, filtered rainwater, a fruit and vegetable-filled garden with the odd hen.

Who is the most famous person whose number you have in your mobile?That would be a toss-up between Felix Dexter and Christian Slater.

How many texts do you send in a day? If I’m organising a party about 100, but generally it’s down to about 10 a day to friends and family.

What item could you not live without? My inhaler.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? Physically, I’d like longer legs and green eyes, and I’d like to be less of a worrier. Apart from that I’m pretty happy with myself at the moment. Whoops, that was more than one thing!

Where are you going on holiday? The Isle of Arran in Scotland, then off to visit my big sister Rachel in north Hollywood.

What were you doing this time yesterday? I was spinning at the gym.

What will you be doing this time tomorrow? I’ll be meeting my friend Alessia for coffee. Then off for more spinning at the gym. I was so inspired by the Olympics and my brother David, who did the Iron Man in September.
