Aldi is having a baby and toddler event this week.

It will include items such as bottles, food, furniture, nappies, muslin cloths, highchairs and more.

Parents can also get their hands on a highly sought after rocking chair for less than £150.

The Accent rocking chair (£149.99) first went on sale in Aldi stores in Australia and proved to be so popular that it sold out within one minute, the supermarket claims.

Julie Ashfield, Joint Managing Director of Corporate Buying at Aldi, said: “We pride ourselves at being able to offer parents excellent quality baby and toddler products at a fraction of the price offered by competitors.

"We are particularly excited by the Accent rocking chair, the perfect way to deck out your nursery, without breaking the bank.”

Other items include a Mamia Chevron baby highchair (£19.99), it comes with a feeding tray and a space for a cup. It also has slip-resistant feet, a padded seat and wide legs for extra sturdiness.

As well as this, shoppers can also get their hands on a range of Mamia nappies (from £2.99), a Motorola baby video monitor (£79.99) and a Hauck Shopper SLX Travel System pram (£99.99).

You can also buy a small rug for you child's room (£19.99 each) - choose from a furry bear, a penguin and a monkey.

The budget supermarket's event is a great ways for mums and dads to pick up some essentials for a fair price.
