Tickets are still available for The South’s extra gig in Holmfirth.

The nine-piece collective formed of ex-members of 90s favourites The Beautiful South, added a second date this weekend after Saturday’s performance quickly sold out.

Brit rockers Max Raptor are heading for a pre-xmas mosh up at Leeds’ famous Cockpit venue. The Burton band, who have been hailed for their socially aware, visceral modern punk rock, have toured with Billy Talent, The Darkness and Dinosaur Pile Up and played Download Festival and the recent Vans Warped Tour in London. Their UK tour arrives in Leeds on Tuesday Dec17. Support comes from Reading’s Attention Thieves and Peterborough quintet, We Are Fiction.

The now legendary Bad Manners festive knees up is set to kick-off the Christmas party season in the Holme Valley.
