ONE of Britain’s leading young contemporary music ensembles, EXAUDI, will be performing at Huddersfield University this spring.

The vocal ensemble, which offers an interesting mix of the medieval with modern experimental, will be appearing on Tuesday, March 9, at 7.30pm.

Since its debut in 2002, EXAUDI has performed throughout the UK and Europe to great acclaim, recording with the British label NMC.

Founded by James Weeks and Juliet Fraser, the ensemble is based in London but draws its singers from among the UK’s brightest new vocal talent.

Many EXAUDI programmes combine the new with old and the ensemble is equally in demand for its High Renaissance and early Baroque performances.

Tickets for the event are £6 for adults and £3 for concessions, and available from 01484 472003 email livemusic@hud.ac.uk
