The late great Peter Brook remains one of the area’s best-known and loved artists.

Every autumn the AC Gallery in Byram Street, Huddersfield, stages a show to celebrate his work.

This year’s show, which opens on November 9, will feature originals, signed prints and books – more than 100 pictures in total – by the Brighouse painter.

Since Peter died in 2009 demand for his work has increased and originals sell for thousands of pounds.

The annual AC show has become the gallery’s single biggest annual event.

“It has a life of its own,” says gallery owner Mike Baggs.

“We get hundreds of visitors from all over the UK and abroad.”

Among the exhibits will be an original of Brighouse Mill, which featured in a recent edition of the Antiques Roadshow.
