FAULTY OPTIC is a Holmfirth-based animation and puppet company which produces some of the most imaginative and creative work around.

Little wonder that founder member Liz Walker has been called in to help Liverpool-based theatre collective The Suitcase Ensemble with its latest work.

The group has been working with Liz on a new version of a piece called, Clunk which plays the Square Chapel in Halifax next Friday, that’s April 16.

The company has collaborated with Liz especially for this tour.

Liverpool-born Andrew Gledhill, who directs the piece said: “It’s been a treat working with Liz because she’s really helped us take the puppetry and the show into darker, magical places.

“It’s great to combine that with lots of daft comedy. I love comedy like Monty Python, and Clunk now feels very much from the same tradition.

“It’s rooted in the absurd and fantastical, but is full of raucous humour.”

Box office is on 01422 349422 and the show starts at 8pm.
