ACTOR Alun Jones joins the cast of the Halifax Thespians in their latest production.

The vastly Huddersfield actor will join Hove Edge actress Brenda Chapel in the Humble Boy at the Playhouse in Halifax.

He will actually be playing a role that he’s already played here in Huddersfield.

The Halifax production opens tomorrow with evening performances through until next Saturday with a matinee on the final day, October 14.

The Charlotte Jones story tells the tale of secrets and lies in an English Country garden.

The humble boy, Felix, is played by John Davies in his fourth production and his overbearing mother is brought Brenda Chapel.

Alun Jones, who has played many roles in Huddersfield, plays an elderly gardener who befriends Felix. Alun was last seen at the Lawrence Batley Theatre in Huddersfield Thespian’s production of Amy’s View by David Hare earlier this year.

The show is directed by Pauline Robinson. Visit for ticket details.
