Two former soap stars are heading to Leeds Grand Theatre in West End and Broadway favourite Guys and Dolls.
Richard Fleeshman, who played Rosie Webster's goth boyfriend in Coronation Street, and Maxwell Caulfield, formerly Max Wylde in Emmerdale, star in the Chichester Festival Theatre revival of the romantic comedy musical.
The national tour opens in Leeds on Tuesday May 24 for a five night run.
Fleeshman plays high-rolling gambler Sky Masterton, while Caulfield plays con-man Nathan Detroit. Miss Adeaide is played by Louise Dearman, and Anna O'Byrne takes the role of Sarah Brown.
The musical tells the story of Nathan Detroit, who needs cash fast for an illegal dice game and to satisfy the desire of his love Miss Adelaide, whose patience is running out after a 14-year engagement.
Cue Sky Masteron, who can never resist a bet — and straight-laced missionary Sarah Brown, a 'doll with a heart of ice'. Nathan bets Sky to woo Sarah by taking her to Havana for dinner, and in return he'll provide Sarah's mission with a dozen 'sinners'. How can Nathan lose?
Set in Prohibition-era New York, guys and dolls first opened on Broadway in 1950 and scooped a host of awards.
The show is based on the colorgul stories of American journalist Damon Runyon, known for his vivid fictional accounts of the gamblers, hustlers and nightclub singers of the Big Apple, and features much-loved songs including My Time of Day, Luck Be A Lady and Sit Down You're Rockin' the Boat .
Guys and Dolls is at Leeds Grand Theatre from Tuesday May 24 to Saturday May 28.
Tickets are on sale now priced from £23 to £49.50.
