And now Penistone Centre Stage Musicals is throwing open its doors to new recruits.
It is keen to give more people a chance to enjoy the fun and camaraderie of being involved in an amateur society.
With some members retiring after long service in amateur shows and others off to university, there’s always room for new faces in our amateur groups.
Penistone hopes to recruit some new blood and is holding a recruitment evening next week.
The society hope that anyone interested in joining the company will pop in to see them at Penistone Community Centre on Tuesday (that’s September 3) at 7.30pm.
It doesn’t matter whether you fancy trying your skills out on stage or would feel more comfortable helping out of stage, you will be just as welcome. The company is open to anyone aged 14 or over.
