SKELMANTHORPE Band are staging their annual Christmas concert at a new venue and day this year.
The concert will take place at Pilling Lane Methodist chapel in the village on Sunday, December 14 at 7.30pm.
They have also invited back guest singer Rachel Crisp, who at 17 is regarded as a very promising up and coming soprano singer.
Rachel lives in Brighouse and attends Chethams School of Music in Manchester, where she is studying voice and piano.
She thrilled the audience at last year’s concert and returns by popular demand.
