Little Mix played in Hull on Friday night ... and our colleagues on the Hull Live website thought it was spectacular.

Here is the review of the gig at Hull Kingston Rovers’ ground, Craven Park, written by Hannah Robinson.

Little Mix performed in Hull this evening to a sell out crowd - and they didn’t disappoint.

The girl band brought fireworks, giant beach balls, confetti canons and more to their KCOM Craven Park performance and the crowds went wild.

In a set that last almost an hour and a half, Perrie, Leigh-anne, Jade and Jesy sang their biggest hits to the crowd of families and children who looked to be having the time of their lives.

The band sang through Wings, Touch, Move and more, with a fabulous encore containing the LGBT Pride anthem, Secret Love Song.

It was at this point the crowd put their phone torches on and sang along to the moving song while multi-coloured lasers lit up the audience.

When speaking to the crowd the girls said Hull was the loudest city they had performed to and that everyone looked fantastic and sounded incredible.

With support from Australia girl band Germain and X Factor 2017 champions Rak-Su, it was a night to remember for Hull and all the young fans who had been waiting to see their favourite superstars for months.

The final song, Power, brought the house down, and we can only hope that more popstars will see Hull and Craven Park as the perfect destination to bring their music.

With glitter in their hair and jewels on their faces, tonight was a dream come true for the Hull crowd. It was spectacular.
