The biggest bi-annual event in the style calendar is almost here.

London Fashion Week (LFW) will see established labels, up-and-coming designers and the glitterati descend upon the capital for five days of catwalks and collections.

The event will give us an insight into what we will be wearing next season - as well as the styles, trends and must-have items to invest in.

The British Fashion Council - who organises LFW - will also host the London Fashion Week Festival - where people can shop the latest designs, as well as attend industry-led talks.

When is LFW?

London Fashion Week is taking place between Friday February 16 and Tuesday February 20.

Many of the events and catwalks will take place at British Fashion Council Show Space, which is located in central London.

Other venues will be revealed on invitations.

Can I get tickets to the shows?

Most of the events are invite-only and they're reserved for for buyers, members of the press and influential fashionistas in the industry.

But luckily that doesn't mean you have to miss out, as many of the events will be available to watch on YouTube on the British Fashion Council's channel. Last year shows were also live streamed so fans could keep up with the action as and when it was happening.

Although you can't get tickets to the shows, you can buy them for the LFW Festival. It's a four-day event which kicks off after London Fashion Week comes to an end and it allows shoppers the chance to get their hands on the new collections.

It also includes some catwalk shows and talks hosted by industry experts - designer Markus Luper, ELLE's Fashion Editor Harriet Stewart and lifestyle and fashion blogger Niomi Smart are just some of the people appearing.

How much do London Fashion Week Festival tickets cost, and where can I buy them from?

There are three types of tickets you can buy - Festival Entry (from £20), Silver (from £45) and Gold (from £60) - and you can buy them all here .

Festival Entry tickets let you shop exclusive offers from more than 150 designers and attend talks.

Whereas Silver and Gold tickets let you do the above, as well as attend catwalk shows, sit front row and get a limited edition designer tote bag.

In order to book your tickets you firstly need to select the day you want to attend and a time slot - most of them start from 11am.

Which designers will be showcasing new collections at LFW 2018?

A whole host of fashion designer will be showcasing their new collection in the five-day event, with up to 18 catwalks per day.
