Council heading to the scene
Here is another picture from the scene. The car appears to be parked outside a building, so hopefully no-one was in it at the time.
Our reporter says that the council are coming to the scene to remove the tree.
Picture: Tree fallen onto Peugeot
Police are currently on the scene in Liversedge where a tree has fallen onto a silver Peugeot. We have made an enquiry with police and a reporter is at the scene, hopefully we should find out more soon.

An event at the University tomorrow will reveal the secret science behind magician Dynamo and Derren Brown’s mindblowing illusions.
Budding magicians can expect to learn a few tricks of the trade at the European Researcher’s Night from 4pm onwards tomorrow.
Nik Taylor – who teaches drama at the University – is hosting the workshop. He said: “We will be looking at how many magicians are interested in science and how they are able to fool your senses.”

Tree falls onto car in Liversedge
We’ve had reports that a large tree has fallen onto a car on Leeds Road in Liversedge, near the old Yewtree pub. The incident is said to be causing traffic chaos, so avoid the area. More on this as we get it.
In other traffic updates, police re-opened Round Ings Road in Scapegoat Hill shortly before 11am, so it’s a green light in case you were wondering. The motorist who was hospitalised has serious, but non-life threatening injuries, police have confirmed.
