He will be sentenced at a later date.
Reports overturned car was clipped by a BMW
We have an update from police on the crash on Bradley Road.
A spokeswoman said there were two vehicles involved in the collision, a black Mazda and a black BMW.
A female in her 40s was driving the black Mazda which overturned and has been taken to hospital. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police were called to the scene at 11.55am following reports of a collision and that the occupants of the BMW had made off from the scene, leaving the car behind.
This is currently what was reported to police when they were alerted, so there may be further developments which shed a little more light on the situation.
However, a bystander at the scene did say “the overturned car had been clipped by a BMW”.
Hands Off HRI lawyer to represent family of Ann Maguire
Also in the news this afternoon, the lawyer representing the Hands Off HRI family will represent the family of Ann Maguire, the Leeds schoolteacher who was stabbed to death by a pupil.
Mrs Maguire, 61, was killed after she was attacked by pupil Will COrnick in a Spanish class at Corpus Christi Catholic College in April 2014.
Yogi Amin, based at Irwin Mitchell solicitors, is representing the Maguire family at the inquest and has said today they are seeking a Judicial Review over concerns about evidence being left out following a pre-inquest review.
He said: “The family want to know the full facts and hope that they will still be able to get the necessary answers through an independent and fair process at the inquest.”
Police working to re-open Bradley Road
Officers are currently working to re-open the road, a police spokeswoman has said.

Resident heard a "loud crash"
A bystander at the scene, who did not want to be named, said he didn’t see the collision but heard a “loud crash”.
The man said: “I didn’t see it, but I certainly heard it.
“I was at home and came out to see what was going on. I can’t believe it. I just really hope whoever it is is okay.”
There were initial concerns that there was more than one person inside the vehicle, but it appears only one was pulled to safety and that there was no-one else inside.

There's truth in the five second rule, scientist claims
Do you live by the five second rule when it comes to dropping food? Forget what you hear, a scientists is saying today that it may actually be true.
A University professor has claimed that food dropped on the floor is usually safe to eat if only there momentarily.
Germ expert Prof Anthony Hilton added that retrieving your slice of pizza however can never be completely without risk of contamination. He said: “Eating food that has spent a few moments on the floor can never be entirely risk-free.
“Obviously, food covered in visible dirt shouldn’t be eaten, but as long as it’s not obviously contaminated, the science shows that food is unlikely to have picked up harmful bacteria from a few second spent on an indoor floor.”
Please note, I’m pretty sure this doesn’t count if you drop your sarnie on the pavement outside Tesco...
