Another group of people have appeared in court charged in connection with a large-scale police operation into drug dealing.

Operation Overwood was conducted by West Yorkshire Police over several months in the Kirklees area.

A number of individuals were said to have supplied class A drugs to undercover police officers.

Many have already appeared at Kirklees Magistrates’ Court and been sent to appear at Leeds Crown Court over several dates later this month.

Those appearing at the Huddersfield court for the first time on yesterday were:

Aaron Corion, 30, of Strathyre Avenue, London, who faces six charges of supplying drugs and one allegation of possession with intent.

Leon Flynn, 29, of Equilibrium, Lindley, and Jason Webster, 21, of Mitchell Avenue in Waterloo, each face five allegations of supplying drugs.

James Watt, 38, of Blossom Court in Dalton, is alleged to have supplied heroin on November 27 and 28 last year.

Paul Illingworth, 40, of Holays in Dalton, has one charge of supplying a class A drug.

Mark Jepson, 27, of Melrose Close in Dalton, faces 10 charges of supplying the drug.

Kenton Edwards, 36, of East Street in Lindley, has two charges of supplying a class A drug against him.

All men entered no indication of pleas to the charges.

They will first appear at Leeds Crown Court on June 20.

Unconditional bail was granted.
