Huddersfield Town’s home derby with Leeds United was the second most watched Championship clash on Sky Sports this season.

Statistics (which run up to the start of the latest international break) show 318,000 tuned in to the lunchtime derby, which the Whites won 3-0 in front of a tickets-issued gate of 17,118.

The most watched second-tier Sky game this season was Derby County versus Wolves, which attracted 373,000.

Third highest was Middlesbrough versus Leeds United, with 316,000.

Town have been shown live three times this term, ( Nottingham Forest at home and Wolves away were the others).

In a first for the Football League, Sky will screen 10 games live in as many days next month, starting with Wolves v Nottingham Forest on Friday 11.

The others are MK Dons v Ipswich Town (12), Sheffield United v Coventry City (13), Blackburn Rovers v Nottingham Forest (14), Queens Park Rangers v Brighton and Hove Albion (15), Hull City v Reading (16), Wolves v Leeds (17), Birmingham City v Cardiff City (18), Brighton v Middlesbrough (19) and Walsall v Port Vale (20).
