It was an day of records being broken as Huddersfield Town opened their 2016/17 Championship account with an impressive 2-1 win over Brentford at the John Smith's Stadium.
Debutants Elias Kachunga and Kasey Palmer were both on target as the Terriers recorded a home opening-day victory for the first time since beating Yeovil Town in 2007.
It was also the first time Huddersfield Town have managed to win their opening day game at this level for over 20 years - played out amidst the backdrop of the club's largest opening-day crowd for 46 years.

Kachunga, on loan from Bundesliga side Ingolstadt, opened the scoring with a bullet of a header past Daniel Bentley early in the second half before the visitors pulled level through Nico Yennaris after he slipped the ball through loan keeper Danny Ward's legs.
However, Palmer was on hand to grab the winner with only his second touch of the game two minutes later - coolly slotting home the rebound from Rajiv van La Parra's initial shot.
But who stood out to warrant the Man of the Match accolade? And who flattered to deceive or was below par?
