Huddersfield Town prolonged their unbeaten Championship run to six games after coming from two goals down to secure a hard-fought 2-2 draw at Ipswich Town.

Town trailed to a first-half goal from Ipswich's Tommy Smith before Christophe Berra doubled the hosts' lead but Town, boosted by the double substitution of Sean Scannell and Harry Bunn, rallied and deservedly pulled level through Nahki Wells' brace.

First, Wells tucked home from the penalty spot after Grant Holt had been tugged back by Tractor Boys captain Luke Chambers before the diminutive frontman nodded home from Tommy Smith's right-wing centre.

But how did each Town player rank in the enthralling 2-2 draw?

See our player ratings below.

Smithies - Should have done better with the opening goal as he was beaten far too easily at his near post but was generally very assured with his handling from corners and other set pieces. Left exposed for Ipswich's second. 6.

Smith - Rapidly becoming one of Town's most dependable defenders and enhanced his reputation with a typically all-action display here in which he combined tenacity with craft in the final third. Capped a positive display with a sumptuous cross for Wells' second. 7.

Peltier - Failed to press home any claims for a first-team spot with a disjointed performance, with his positioning at question for the Ipswich opener and while he did little particularly wrong, he never truly got to grips with Ipswich's interchanging frontline. 5.

Hudson - Did not seem his usual commanding self and will question his involvement in both goals but helped keep Town's shape at the back when the home side launched their attacks. 6.

Lynch - Impressive performance from the central defender and he recovered from a testing start to deal well with the threat posed by Daryl Murphy and David McGoldrick. His passing was accurate, with one second-half lofted ball to Wells catching the eye. 7.

Dixon - A solid and steady return to life in the Huddersfield Town starting XI but he stuck to his guns throughout defensively. Did not look to get forward as much after the interval as he did in the first half, but that was assisted by a change in formation. 6.

Butterfield - Unable to add to his recent goal haul but zipped his passes around the Portman Road pitch looking to open up any gaps in the hosts' defence but was thwarted by some often overly-robust challenges by the home players. 6.

Hogg - Did not have much of an impact during his time on the field but did help break up some Ipswich attacking moves with his combative style. Sacrificed in the second period for a more attacking formation at 2-0 down. 5.

Coady - Was a lot more reserved than normal but was still typically busy with some crisp passing, towering headers and crunching tackles. His shooting was wayward but it was another solid display for Town. 6.

Holt - Looked to be struggling from his woeful first-half miss but came alive in the second half and, having let another chance go begging, he started to have an influence up front and won his side a penalty with a clever piece of play. 7.

Wells - Worked tirelessly throughout and appeared to be proving his point from the outset after missing out on his side's last two games. But he took his chances superbly, vindicating Chris Powell's decision to field him in the starting XI. Showed particular poise for the penalty. 8.

Substitutes:

Bunn - Was one half of the equation which helped swing the game back into Town's favour as he pegged the previously attack-minded Chambers into submission and supplied some dangerous crosses from out wide. 7.

Scannell - Simply sensational when he came on, pinning the hapless Jonathan Parr back and having a direct hand in both of his side's goals with a virtuoso cameo role off the bench. Kept up his outstanding recent form and some. 8.
