There's lots to look forward to at this year's Festival of Light - from a sing-along screening of Disney smash-hit Frozen to a set by the award-winning DJ Yoda, arts and crafts, street entertainment and more.

But one of the most popular features of the annual festival is the stunning firework display that illuminates the sky above St George's Square.

It will be eyes to the skies at 5pm as the fireworks explode above the town centre, accompanied by James Bawn's impressive lighting display.

Music from the Hade Edge Band will help to create a magical atmosphere ahead of the rest of the evening's entertainment.

The firework display and band performance will begin at 5pm in St George's Square.

It will be followed by performance by Spark!, Huddersfield rockers STEMS performing live and a headline, sci-fi themed set by DJ Yoda.
