The return of gripping drama Happy Valley has been teased in a BBC trailer for 2015.

Glimpses of Sarah Lancashire donning her police uniform feature in the two minute clip, which shows new programmes due to air this year as well as the return of viewer favourites including The Great British Bake Off, The Voice, Strictly Come Dancing and The Apprentice.

The BAFTA-winning Last Tango In Halifax, filmed in Marsden and Elland, has already returned to BBC One, with series three currently showing.

The much-anticipated return of Sherlock, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, is also teased, as well as Peter Capaldi's run as Dr Who.

Household names look set to make BBC drama debuts, with Peter Kay appearing in Car Share and comedian Jason Manford in Ordinary Lies.

A TV adaptation of J K Rowling's novel The Casual Vacancy is also in the line-up.

Happy Valley was filmed at North Light Film Studios, Brookes Mill, Armitage Bridge, as well as around Huddersfield, Hebden Bridge, Sowerby Bridge and other parts of Calderdale.

Lancashire starred as police sergeant Catherine Cawood , a woman still coming to terms with the rape and death of her daughter, while being hounded by psychopath Tommy (James Norton).

Series two has yet to be filmed , but the appearance of Sarah Lancashire in the 2015 trailer suggest it will return to our screens this year.
