Jerry the silver fox found safe after week on the run

A silver fox who went walkabouts from Ponderosa Farm in Roberttown last week has now been found safe and well.

Jerry went walkabouts on Wednesday last week after deciding the farm life wasn’t for him. Staff said on Facebook today he was found late last night in Brighouse and was taken to the vets where he was given the all clear.

A spokesperson for Ponderosa said: “We would like to thank everyone for their support and reported sightings over this last week as without such people it would have been near impossible to have found Jerry.”
