Summer nights will be set to live music in St George’s Square as Festival at Dusk returns.

Hosted by Huddersfield Food and Drink Festival, a line-up of bands will entertain revellers enjoying the bars and food stalls on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening.

The main festival bar and hot food stalls will be open until 10pm each night, with last orders at 9.30pm.

Over the weekend, live music will begin at 6pm, while band Little and Often will play from 6pm-7pm on Thursday to give a taste of what’s to come.

  • 8pm-8.45pm: Fiery Biscuits — cover band playing hits from the 60 to present day
  • 9pm-10pm: Headliner: Storm — rock, pop and ska covers

Saturday

  • 6pm-6.45pm: The Awesome School Choir of Rock — celebrating artists including Whitesnake, Kings of Leon, Bon Jovi, Alice Cooper and Muse
  • 7pm-8pm: Man in the Street — Acoustic, rock alternative band
  • 8.30pm-10pm: Headliner: Helter Skelter — party rock band playing classic songs with a rock twist

Sunday

Huddersfield Food and Drink Festival returns for its 15th year on Thursday, promising cuisine from around the world, the best from local chefs and suppliers and cooking demonstrations.

There is also the Real Ale and Cocktail Trail, running across 18 town centre venues. Visitors can collect 10 stamps along the trail to claim a free engraved festival glass.
