Welcome to the Huddersfield Town live blog with all the latest news, views and transfer round-ups for Wednesday, November 2.

Town were handed a heavy 5-0 defeat by Fulham at the weekend but still remain third in the Championship table.

David Wagner will be hoping his side can bounce back this Saturday when Town welcome Gary Rowett's Birmingham City to the John Smith's Stadium.

We'll be looking forward to that match and bringing you all the breaking news from Huddersfield Town and the Championship in general - as well as news from the Champions League clubs ahead of the fixtures tonight.

We also want to hear from you. If you have any opinion on a matter we discuss in the blog or anything Huddersfield Town related, please tweet us at @ExaminerHTAFC with your views and they could be featured and discussed.

Catch up on all the latest Town news with Doug Thomson, Mel Booth, Blake Welton and Rory Benson.

Stale Solbakken

The former Wolves boss - who is now in charge of FC Copenhagen - has hit out at the quick turnover of managers in the Championship in the wake of Walter Zenga’s sacking.

Safe to say he’s not a fan of the English second tier - slightly bitter perhaps?

His record at Wolves was: P30 W10 D5 L15 with a win percentage of 33.33.

I’m the longest there I think of the last four managers.

I’m getting better and better every week. I think Terry Connor stepped in and Dean Saunders went around.

I wasn’t that bad. You were after me in England but now you can see it wasn’t that bad.

I’ve seen so many brainless Championship games, both live and on the bench of the Championship, and if you take that job, if you are so stupid that you take a job there then you also have to take the blame.

England v Scotland

The England players will wear poppies in their match against Scotland at Wembley, despite FIFA’s ban.

FIFA had previously told the English and Scottish FAs the poppies were not allowed to be displayed as they were too close to a ‘political symbol’ - outlawed by football’s governing body.

Good morning

Hello everyone and welcome to today’s Town live blog.

David Wagner has a full week of preparation for the Birmingham City test this weekend and will likely have the players in every day to fix some of the problems highlighted at Fulham last week.

Despite the 5-0 drubbing however, the head coach has insisted he will not make sweeping changes to his side on Saturday.

Stick with us here for any Town news as it breaks, as well as all the news from around the Championship grounds.
