Teenage driver robbed at Grange Moor

An 18-year-old woman was victim of a terrifying robbery on Wakefield Road after thugs crashed into her car.

The young woman was driving near the Grange Moor roundabout when she noticed a green Nissan Terrano driving erratically behind her at 6.30pm last night.

The victim pulled over into the Kaye Arms car park to avoid a collision.

But the vehicle followed her and crashed into her vehicle before a gang of five men wearing balaclavas jumped out.

Their vehicle was then abandoned a couple of minutes later in a car park at the Lepton Liberal Working Mens Club, on Wakefield Road.

If you have any information that can help police find these men, please contact police on 101 quoting log 1430 of 30 August.
