David Wagner takes his Huddersfield Town side to Norwich City tonight looking to break a Carrow Road hoodoo.

Although the German Head Coach has overseen two successive SkyBet Championship victories in the space of a week, Town's last victory at the Canaries came in November 1969.

After a hard-fought 1-0 victory at Burton Albion on Tuesday, Town are expected to make a number of changes to freshen up the starting eleven.

For the hosts, Cameron Jerome is fit again after a back injury but may have to settle for a place on the bench for the Canaries.

Bringing you all the pre-match news and extensive match comment and analysis is Blake Welton with expert opinion as ever from Doug Thomson – so you won't miss a thing!

Signing Out

Well that’s all from tonight’s LIVE Blog in what has been quite an incredible week to be a Huddersfield Town supporter.

Who would have thought, or indeed believed, that David Wagner’s side would have gained a maximum return from their three games this week.

It takes Town upto third in the SkyBet Championship before the rest of the matches this weekend but whatever the outcome of those - Huddersfield Town are nestled comfortably in the Play-Off places.

I’m back with Doug on Boxing Day as the side host Nottingham Forest at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Until then, have a safe journey back to West Yorkshire, Merry Christmas and keep following the Examiner website, the Examiner Town Facebook page and @ExaminerHTAFC for all the latest Town news, views and opinion.

David Wagner Speaks!!

The Huddersfield Town Head Coach was rightly proud of his side after tonight’s 2-1 win.

Match Report

Have a read of our match report as a brace from Elias Kachunga gives Town a third win in a week and a first at Carrow Road since 1969.

Post-Match Celebration

Can’t wait for this.....the Town fans have to be patient though as the SKY guys grab Elias Kachunga and Aaron Mooy for a quick post-match interview....oh wait, the rest of the players have gone on without them!!

FT: Norwich City 1 Huddersfield Town 2

Relief!!! The referee blows the whistle and Huddersfield Town have a tremendous win at Carrow Road! Their first here in 47 years - simply stunning to a man tonight!!

Nearly There...

90+2 Minutes: CAN’T. TAKE. MUCH. MORE.

Chance!!

90+1 Minutes: Bassong rises to meet Brady’s corner, but his header is inches wide! Too close for comfort here for me!!!

Substitution

90+1 Minutes: Rajiv van La Parra is replaced by Michael Hefele. Eventually.

Added Time

The referee indicates a minimum of three minutes remaining here at Carrow Road. HOLD ON TOWN!!!

Fan View

Least you have a choice - I have to....edge of the seat stuff at the moment!

Norwich Pressure

It’s all the Canaries now as they chase an equaliser - a combination of poor finishing in the final third and last-ditch defending is keeping them at bay though.

Attendance

Just been announced at 25, 275 - decent for a Friday night before Christmas with the game on Sky.

Near-Miss

85 Minutes: Naismith’s flick almost reaches Jerome in the box, but Huddersfield scramble it clear through Stankovic.

Another good piece of defending - he’ll do something daft in a minute though!

Stankovic

82 Minutes: Good defending from the youngster to stop Jerome getting on the end of a long ball forwards.

He’s had a mixed night tonight - influential with the second goal, played some other nice passes and defended well at times but then had some howlers too....

Substitution

81 Minutes: Jonathan Hogg trudges off to be replaced by Philip Billing - naturally he takes his time coming off the field. Good Lad.

Great Save!!

80 Minutes: Danny Ward gets down well as Murphy tries to find the bottom corner from 20 yards out.

77 Minutes

It’s still Norwich City 1 Huddersfield Town 2 - expect a typically nervous final ten minutes as per usual!

Substitution

76 Minutes: First change of the game for David Wagner’s men - Harry Bunn replaces Nahki Wells.

Nagging Doubt

Have to agree with you Mitchell - it’s a nagging doubt I have as well....things surely can’t go so well for Town in this match that they actually end up winning it!!

Yellow Card

71 Minutes: Stupid booking to pick up from Nahki Wells - Town counter-well as Chris Lowe wins the ball, laying it off to van La Parra but his pass to Wells is judged to be offside.

The forward kicks the ball into the net in frustration. Silly Silly Boy.

Wide!

68 Minutes: Norwich are attempting to rally and Murphy sees his effort go just wide after he combined with Cameron Jerome at the edge of the box.

Town soaking up the pressure well though and look threatening on the break.

Delia Sort It Out!!

The Norwich City fans are not happy with what they are seeing from Alex Neil’s side at all - is he a dead man walking tonight?

The atmosphere is bordering on toxic here as they sing ‘Delia Delia Sort It Out’

While she is at it sort out the wifi as well - it’s been as atrocious as the home team tonight!

Substitutions

65 Minutes: The final changes for Norwich City - Steven Naismith and Cameron Jerome come on for Nelson Oliveira and Graham Dorrans.

The home fans are livid with those changes it seems - met with a chorus of boos.

Oooooh So Close!!!

58 Minutes: What are you doing Stankovic!!! The young centre-back mis-kicks letting Oliveira in but his attempted lob drifts just wide with Danny Ward rushing out to close down the space.

The keeper did just enough there but Big Jon needs to do better.

Booking

51 Minutes: Graham Dorrans is booked for a strong challenge on Kasey Palmer.

Iwan Roberts

The former Town and Norwich player is very impressed with us it seems...(think he means Town but I’ll take a compliment wherever it comes from).

Gegenpressing

48 Minutes: It’s well and truly on show tonight - Nahki Wells is nearly in again after chasing down a short back pass but Ruddy recovers in time...

How long can the side keep up this intensity though? After two games already this week, the side’s fitness will really be tested.

Substitution

Alex Tettey replaces Youssouf Mulumbu for Norwich City in the second-half.

Teams Are Out

The second-half is about to get underway here - more of the same please Town.

Possession

I mentioned Town were playing like Barcelona tonight - well here is the proof!
